Lindie Strydom (born 16 March 1978), née van Eeden, is a South African actress, presenter, and motivational speaker. She is best known for playing Karin Schoeman Edwards on the M-Net soap opera Egoli: Place Of Gold.

Early Life
Lindie Strydom was born on 16 March 1978 in Oudtshoorn, a town in the Klein Karoo area in the Western Cape province of South Africa. She grew up in Mosselbay.
In 1996, she attended and matriculated from Hoërskool Framesby in Port Elizabeth.
Career
Lindie Strydom made her acting debut in January 1977 after playing Okahandja farm girl Karin in Egoli. She was a girl of eighteen years when she landed the role in the M-Net soap opera.
Strydom is positive, focused, motivated, and enthusiastic. She also loves life and believes in unity and having a strong support system.
Personal Life
Lindie Strydom married an engineer, Johann Strydom, on 12 January 2002, six weeks after their first date. Her husband accepted his new job, and they moved to the Cape early in 2021.
The couple got engaged in the snow in Harrismith. They celebrated 20 years of marriage in 2022. She and her husband have three children, Paul, Hugo, and Nina.
