Larsen presents inserts for the M-Net current affairs show Carte Blanche. She is a known face on eNCA and e.tv News and has interviewed sports stars, politicians, and cultural icons.
Career
The journalist has worked at Eyewitness News and M-Net’s Carte Blanche. She has reported for international radio and television news programs. She worked for the BBC, Associated Press, and ITN Television News.
Among her notable works is covering the legal tribulations of former president Jacob Zuma since 2005. She also covered the murder trial of Oscar Pistorius.
Larson has done television documentaries such as The World’s Busiest Mortuary, The Far Right, Prepping for a Revolution, and My Blood is Red.

Annika Larsen is married to advocate and legal consultant Anton Katz. Larson praised her husband for the care he put into a case on Twitter on 14 June 2018.
They have two children, Joseph and Milo. Her dog, Wanda, appeared on national television e.tv on 18 May 2020. Broadcast journalist Annika Larson resides in Cape Town.
