Early Life and Education

Kizz Daniel was born Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe on May 1, 1994, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. He attended Abeokuta Grammar School and graduated from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, in 2013, with a degree in Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology (Water Engineering).

Music Career

Daniel began his music career in 2013, when he signed a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment. He released his debut single, “Shoye”, in May 2014. The song was a hit, and it helped to launch Daniel’s career.

In 2015, Daniel released his second single, “Woju“. The song was an even bigger hit than “Shoye”, and it won several awards, including the Headies Award for “Song of the Year”.

Daniel went on to release several more hit singles, including “Layé”, “Good Time”, “Duro”, and “For You” (with Wizkid). He also released two studio albums, New Era (2016) and No Bad Songz (2018).

In 2017, Daniel left G-Worldwide Entertainment following a contract dispute. He founded his own record label, Fly Boy Inc., in November 2017.

Since then, Daniel has continued to release hit songs and albums. He released his third studio album, King of Love, in 2020. He also released the EPs Barnabas (2021) and Maverick (2023).
