Concerning his professional career, Dee was selected 46th in the NBA Draft of 2006 by the Utah Jazz. However, he played in the above mentioned league only for a season, then continued his career in the Turkish league with Galatasaray for a season, averaging 12.5 points and 4.8 assists per game. Before the start of the 2008 – 2009 NBA season, he signed as a free agent for the Washington Wizards, with whom he played 17 games before being cut in December. A few days later he signed a contract the Phoenix Suns, but two weeks later he was released, so he returned to Europe, finishing the season with Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli league. In 2009, he was a part of the Avellino team of Lega Basket Serie A in Italy, then went on to play in China. In 2011, Brown had contracts with Piratas de Quebradillas in Puerto Rico, and Teramo Basket in Italy. The last three years he played in Turkey, Latvia, Romania and Bulgaria, until in 2015 he announced his retirement from professional sport.
