Early Life
Luyanda Zwane was born in Durban in KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. She participated in high school musicals and drama competitions, which took place in her hometown, Durban.
Her curiosity about what happens in another person’s head sparked her love for performing arts.

Zwane had her matric at Kingsway High School. She participated in school musicals and drama competitions. The actress studied drama as a subject. She completed her matric year with five distinctions.
