Nosipho Silinda (born 25 August 2000) is a South African singer and songwriter. She is best known for contesting on Idols SA season 14 in 2018.

Early Life
Nosipho Silinda was born on 25 August 2000 into a musical family. She hails from KwaZulu-Natal and has five younger siblings. She started singing in church, school, and choirs. Eventually, she began to do cover songs for YouTube.
The singer is lucky to have supportive parents and relatives. Her aunt Busisiwe “Cici” Thwala, who is a multi-award-winning artist, gives her advice.
Education
Silinda dropped out of grade 11 in August 2018 to enter the singing competition Idols SA. She had to repeat grade 11 and recorded her debut single, Thembalami.
As a student, she loves life sciences, mathematics, and Zulu. She wrote her Matric examination in December 2020.
Career
Nosipho took part in Idols SA and made it to the top six. She has been singing as an independent artist and prefers to work with her family.
Her mother, known as Miss T, is her manager. Nosipho sang the national anthem at the Springboks versus Wallabies match at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in 2023.
The former Idols SA finalist delivered a pitch-perfect performance at the match to kick off the Rugby Championship.
