Salamina Mosese (born 19 June 1983) is a South African actress, producer, TV personality, presenter, and announcer. Many know her for playing Nthabiseng Masilo in the serial 7de Laan.
Playing Keketso Chaka on Backstage further thrust her to the limelight. She presented the E.tv kids’ program CRAZe for five years. She joined the cast of the youth drama television series Soul Buddyz in 1999.

Salamina Mosese was born on 19 June 1983 in Zebediela, a village in Limpopo, South Africa. She completed a Matric Exemption with distinctions in English, Afrikaans, and History.
At first, the actress did not have it in mind to be an actress. The support her brother showed by following her to an audition changed everything. She auditioned for a role and got a callback.
Education
Mosese studied for a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications at the University of Johannesburg (RAU). She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Regenesys Business School.
Career
Salamina started her career by presenting an eTV kids program, CRAZe. After spending five years on the show, she left. The actress made a cameo appearance in Soul City, a drama series that mirrors the challenges poor communities face everywhere, in 1994.
In 1999, she moved to the SABC1 youth show Soul Buddyz. In April 2006, she landed the role of lecturer Keketso Chaka on the E.tv soap opera Backstage. She took over from Katlego Danke until June 2007.
On the SABC2 program Crazy Games, she was the presenter in 2007. She appeared in the SABC1 reality show Top Class. In 2008, she won the Top Billing Presenter search and became the presenter.
Salamina Mosese presented two Nedbank game shows on SABC3 and eTV. She has appeared in many other series, such as Justice for All, Erfsondes, and Wild at Heart. She hosted the search competition Gospel Star.
The actress made her debut comical role in the SABC 1 sitcom Abo Mzala in 2012. She played a domestic worker in the series Ella in 2013, which earned her a SAFTA Golden Horn Award for Best Actress in a Comedy.
On SABC 2 soap opera 7de laan, she played journalist Nthabiseng Masilo in 2016. She was the host of the parenting show Yummy Mammi on AzaTV.
Salamina has experience in the corporate sector. She was the in-charge of stakeholder relations at the South African Council for Educators (SACE). She co-founded the online platform AzaTV launched in May 2015.
Mosese is the co-managing director of Sorele Media. She formed the media content company with her friend, Stephane Zwane. She has produced a feature film, Love and Kwaito, through the company.
Personal Life
Salamina Mosese married Tshepo Howza Mosese in 2008. The couple who are actors are proud parents of two children. Tshepo and Mosese met during the serial Backstage.
At the 2020 I Do Awards, they received the Inspirational Couple of the Year Award. Salamina suffered depression caused by challenges in her life.
