Sessions Judge Nasir Javed Rana pronounced the verdict which was reserved on December 9 last week.
On September 23, 2022, 37-year-old economist Sara Inam was killed in a dumbbell attack allegedly by her husband Shahnawaz Amir in Islamabad’s Chak Shahzad area.

He later confessed to murdering her, saying that he “thought” his wife was having an affair. The couple had married only three months before the incident.
A local court in Islamabad on Saturday reserved its verdict on the plea for clemency from the prime suspect, Shahnawaz Amir, in the Sara Inam murder case. The court is set to announce its decision on December 14, Express News reported.
